Tobutt Family Consolidates Certif-A-Gift Ownership
The Tobutt family has consolidated family ownership of The Certif-A-Gift Company (CAG) with the goal, the company says, of continuing the tradition begun by company founder Randy Tobutt in 1954. It will focus on the company’s original purpose to support its agents, promotional product partners, and their customers in the use of incentives, recognition, loyalty, and business gift programs.
“The CAG team is 100% committed to deliver best-in-class solutions for incentive and recognition programs,” says President Linda Tobutt, who assumed that position in 2017 after over 30 years as a CAG board member. According to the company, she brings extensive experience in corporate finance, treasury management, and strategic planning. “We will maintain the industry’s highest ratings recognized by Advertising Specialty Institute and SAGE, and certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by meeting all WBENC standards,” she adds.
The company says that Chief Executive Officer Andy Tobutt will continue to lead the company’s sales, product, and business development teams. He has over 40 years of experience with the company. “Our priority is customer success achieved through long-standing relationships and innovative solutions. We continually enhance our service offerings to exceed our customer’s expectations.”
The company also has announced that third generation Ryan and Alex Tobutt have joined the organization. Ryan has a background in pharmaceutical sales and will assume the role of Sales Manager. Alex, with his Certif-A-Gift experience in accounting, project management, and warehouse oversight, is now Operations Manager. The company says that both have Masters degrees in business.
Andy Tobutt says the company’s new “Gift of Choice” redemption website “is an example of CAG’s ongoing commitment to innovative product development, providing customers with multiple brand and message options, personalized recognition, intuitive selection process, automated reminders, and robust reporting. The new features and options create a custom redemption site that can mirror a customer’s corporate brand.”
The Certif-A-Gift Company says it’s devoted “to making gift-giving and receiving a pleasurable experience for all. Our personable team of representatives assists employers in developing programs that inspire productivity, engagement, and healthy competition in the workplace. Through Certif-A-Gift, companies can successfully motivate their employees, recognize performance, and create positive work environments by utilizing incentive point programs and the Memorable Gift of Choice Program offering Brand Name Rewards – Recipients Choose for Themselves.”
