1-800-FLOWERS.COM Launches Hero SmartGift Platform

The new “Hero intelligent enterprise engagement and gifting platform,” powered by SmartGift, will be integrated into the dynamic 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. corporate gifting website to help business customers create a culture of recognition, appreciation, and engagement, the company announces. 
 
With its enormous base of business and reseller customers in corporate America, 1-800-FLOWERS.COM has announced the launch of new platforms to automate and track gifting for events, occasions, recognition, and more that could have significant reach. 
 
1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. says the new platform enables organizations to:
  • Increase engagement at virtual or In-person events. Using an “innovative Gift Tray feature, business customers can send meeting participants a gift to enjoy during, or as a follow up to, conferences, workshops, and more, through one convenient link.” This link, which can be shared on the organization’s channel of choice, including Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Meets, Zoom, and others, makes it easy to engage multiple recipients without the need of a physical address, the company says.
  • Automate large-scale recognition programs: Automated systems enable business customers to easily identify important gifting occasions (i.e. birthdays, work anniversaries, etc.) and create rules to ensure associates and clients feel recognized and appreciated year after year, the company reports.
  • Seamlessly execute one-to-many gifting: A new campaign management functionality “makes one-to-many gifting quick and easy, without the need for a physical address” by enabling the recipient to designate the address to use for shipping.
  • Easily measure engagement efforts: The company says business customers can access engagement metrics that allow them to see who has been sent a gift, who accepted, what they accepted, and more, all through one comprehensive dashboard. 
 
The company says that this new service establishes 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc.’s commitment “to providing engagement-as-a-service to organizations and helping them build meaningful professional relationships.”
 
This includes access to thousands of gifting options, including Harry & David®, PersonalizationMall.com®, 1-800-Flowers.com®, Cheryl’s Cookies®, and Wolferman's Bakery®, as well as same-day delivery and address-less shipping capabilities, customization offerings, white-glove service, gifting expertise, and more, the company reports.
